Hi! I’m Eleanor and I run ElsBakes!

 

Ever since I was tiny my family have always called me Elz for short and it’s since stuck in school, friendships and workplaces.

 

Fun fact: I misspelt Elz when confirming ElsBakes and it caught on too quick that now I can’t go back..

 

But I promise I’m better at making cakes than I am spelling.

 

I have been baking since FOREVER and I was lucky enough to go to University in Birmingham where I achieved a 1st Class Degree in Bakery and Patisserie Technology. 

 

It was more focused on all the Science stuff, like how many holes there are in a slice of bread rather than how to make a drip cake - so I’ve pretty much learnt all the practical side myself.

I do all this from my family kitchen, although my parents will claim the house has fully been taken over by me!
